Sadie

One of the most beautifully unusual dogs we've seen in a long time, Sadie is a 3 year old black & tan Australian Shepard mix (perhaps longhaired Rottweiler/perhaps herding dog mix) who had been returned to her original shelter because she did not see eye to eye with the resident female dog. Sadie is a fun, energetic, intelligent gal who loves to be busy running, playing, herding, learning and doing things with people. Sadie loves to have canine playmates and does very well with play dates and trips to the dog park. Currently she lives in a setting where she is supervised with other dogs, and is socially appropriate. Sadie has lived with two cats as well as school-aged kids in her past.

Sadie loves to ride in the car and is a happy, very people oriented dog. Sadie is confident, and if allowed to be bossy she will appoint herself head of your home. A quietly confident leader who has the time and energy to give Sadie ample attention and direction will win her heart. Sadie is a funny, personable girl who greets each day with energy, enthusiasm and a smile on her face!
