Four year old Amy has been sitting in the shelter since last August. Tagged "rescue is taking", she was passed over by potential adoptors as well as the euthanasia list. On our last visit, we noticed that she was *still* there. Despite being a bit institutionalized, she passed her evaluation a second time and now is looking for a forever home. Amy is gorgeous - beautiful face, compact build (although she gained some weight in the shelter. Not much to do there besides eat, sleep, bark). Affectionate, loving, responsive,
playful. Amy lives harmoniously with other dogs, but will do best in a home without small animals. She has agility potential once those pesky pounds have disappeared. She is smart and eager to please.
