Samson

January 2, 2008 - Samson was outside playing on New Year’s Eve and I thought I would send a few pictures. All I know is that he was meant to be a NH Rottie. As soon as autumn arrives and the temperatures cool down he is one happy dog!  Now that winter has arrived he loves to play and romp in the snow. He is happy and healthy and loving life. Everyday his antics make us laugh and  we appreciate him even more. We are so lucky to have him as part of our family.

July 10, 2007 - Sammy is doing fantastic. He is the happiest and goofiest dog we have ever known. He still does not like the heat. We make sure that he is comfortable during the day when we are at work, turning on the AC if necessary.  We walk him during the day when the heat will least likely affect him and bring plenty of water.

February 24, 2007 - Samson has been with us exactly one year today! He is happy, healthy, and has come a long way from New Orleans! The funny thing is he doesn't care for summer heat and humidity;however, he absolutely loves the cold and romping in the snow.

February 24, 2006 - Samson was adopted by Mary, Ray and family. A Katrina survivor, Samson went through heartworm treatment and is now happily living in New England. Mary writes often: "Merry Christmas from Samson and all of us!  Samson is doing just great! He is the goofiest, happiest, moosh of a dog! He loves playing and he still takes every chance he gets to do his happy roll of joy! I hope all is well and wish you all the best for 2007!  We can't thank you enough for saving our "apartment size" rottie!

Katrina Survivor.
This 2 yr old 50 lb rottie boy is just the right size for someone looking for a managable male without being overpowered. This boy is his correct size and APARTMENT sized. Samson is a Katrina survivor. Found outside of New Orleans, we have no idea how long he wandered the area until picked up by rescue workers. Samson is neutered and being treated for heartworm. He is happy to interview perspective family members now but can not go to his forever home until March. Samson gets along with other dogs and has not been tested with cats. Kids over 8 for Samson. He needs some manners (he thinks that waltzing with people is appropriate behavior). Samson is a very cute man who loves to give kisses.
