Coda, CGC

October 27, 2008 - Coda was adopted by Jeff. Jeff writes "I'm happy to report that things are going well between us.  She's demonstrated a little food aggression, but we'll continue working on that."

Placed as an 8 wk old puppy by rescue, Coda was returned because her family lost their home. After loosing her family, Coda showed signs of stress, which caused her to act out. Once her foster parents started working and training with her, she quickly adjusted and came out of her shell. Coda is still shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly with those who greet her appropriately. She is house trained, crate trained, knows her commands, is very eager to please, and rides well in the car. Coda has just passed her Canine Good Citizen test at American K9 Country (Amherst NH) which proves with proper handling and guidance she can act properly in new situations.

Coda has previously lived with a cat and is social with other large dogs. She would like a home where she will continue to meet new people, but not one that is regularly chaotic. She enjoys being outside, going for walks, playing with balls, chewing on bones, going for rides in the car, and just being with her people, but she will amuse herself when others are too busy to play with her. Her foster family raves about her house manners, how well she listens to them and her quirky/funny antics. They feel her only obstacle, which they continue to work on, is confidently meeting new people in different situations.

Coda is 2 years old and has lots of love to give her new family.

Please fill out our adoption application if you are interested in any of our dogs
