November 11, 2006 - Princess was adopted by Roland & Nancy. On 1/2/07, they write:

"Happy New Year! Just wanted to give you an update on Princess. She's doing great. We had her at PetSmart today for her second grooming. Everyone there knows her and sees improvement each time we come in. We bring her each week to help her become more social. She's up to 72 pounds as of today and has filled out nicely. Over Christmas we had a full house including a rat terrier. They got along great. Otto tried to play, but Princess still doesn't know how. Playing will come in time. Princess trusts Roland a little more than me, but she is starting to warm up to me slowly. I've misplaced Stephanie's email so would you please let her know how Princess is doing. We love her so very much. I'll keep you updated on her progress. "

Update Princess' Story

Princess is a sweet loving girl whose introduction to people was less than pleasant. She was tied out for the first 3 years of her life without exposure to toys, treats, people and love. Princess has since learned what a "Scooby Snack" is and how to chase a tennis ball. Princess enjoys walks in the woods and swimming. She lives harmoniously with her Rott foster brother and Horse foster brother.

Princess is looking for a home where she will be a member of the family - not a lawn ornament. She will need time and patience in getting to know her family and how to approach and be approached without trepidition. She knows sit and her house training is coming along.
