December 4, 2011 - Linda writes: " Its been five wonderful years with Roc.I don't think we could ever have asked for a better "friend" Roc has become my constant companion, and one of my true loves. In November of 2008 we adopted "Mimi" from you, and she and Roc have been best of friends since. There have been many, many great times together. As of June of 2011 our Roc was diagnosed with lymphoma.We started him on chemo right away. As of now he is doing well, even better than the doctors thought. Our Roc has gotten a little heavier due to the meds, but we don't mind. He is still going for his walks, playing with his tennis balls, and still giving us his big kisses..All we can do now is enjoy every minute and second we have with him. Mimi keeps him going with lots of love, washing him and mothering him (even though she is younger than him)and chasing the chipmunks together. We will keep you updated on how Roc is doing..To all of you at "For the Love of Dog" thank you so much for finding our two wonderful Rotties, they have brought us so much joy. "

November 7, 2008 - Rocky has had a wonderful two years with us. Both he and Tasha had a great summer this year spending most of their time at our camp. they swam eash day, played and went on walks with us,also made some new friends..two weeks ago our Tasha seemed out of sorts so off to the doctors, only to have our hearts broken, Tasha had osteosarcoma of the spinal cord. the spinal column was compromised by 80-90%. So on October 23, 2008 we sent our little girl to live in heaven. Roc only had two short years with her but those years were filled with more fun and laughs than one can ever know. Our big man is lost as we are. It will take us a little time but Roc has already let us know that it would be so nice to have another friend to share his home and yard with.I'm sure you will be hearing from us in the near future. We will be looking for a little girl. Thank you all at the adoption agency for giving us such a wonderful man, everyone he comes in contact with falls in love with hi!

August 8, 2006 - Rocky was adopted by Linda & George from NH. Linda writes: "Roc is doing wondeful, we ALL love him very much already!!!!! He and Tasha play like two little children. They went on a walk together yesterday in the woods,whatever one had to sniff, the other had to.How good it is to have two of them again..."
