This wonderful 3 year old girl with a natural tail came from the Bronx with her brother (Tyson) as a stray. This 90 lb girl passed her evaluation with flying colors - is social with people, other dogs of all sizes and cats. Cady is social with children and loved everyone she met at Pet Adoption Day in August. On July 23, Cady went to the vet to be altered and to have her ugly rear dew claws removed. Cady's foot was constructed in such a way that the dew claw removal required two surgeries to reconstruct a bone that stuck out from her foot. While this has no lasting impact on Cady's life or mobility, it was a significant expense that we had not planned on. Because of this, Cady is now a recipient of Mikie's Fund funds. Cady was released, sutures healed up and is now living happily with other dogs, cats and adults in her foster home. She is house trained, crate trained and rides well in the car. She would prefer a home with a canine brother.
