Juanita or Dyna (as she is called by her foster parents) is a compact, stocky and incredibly sweet two-year-old.  She is house trained, crate trained, walks well on leash and knows basic commands.  She is smart, food motivated, very people focused and eager to please, so she has picked up new house rules and commands quickly.  She is gentle when taking treats from hand, affectionate and a lover of a good belly rub.

Juanita is athletic and will excel in agility, flyball, tracking or any other activity that allows her to train with her handler and work hard.  Juanita has the kind of work ethic that we dream about, yet she loves to just hang out while you watch TV or work on the computer. She is amusing to watch when she is playing either by herself or with other dogs.  She is so animated and puppy like that her foster parents find they end up watching her play more than they watch TV. 

Juanita gets along well with other dogs her own size (male and female), but she has a very high prey drive and should not live with cats, small dogs, or caged animals.  Ever.

Juanita has done very well in foster care, but is anxious to find her forever family.  She would like an active home that will allow her to excel.  She is a fantastic Rottie girl with tremendous potential.  Please fill out our adoption application if you are interested in any of our dogs
