Raven

September 21, 2007 - My little girl Raven who we adopted last fall is doing very well, she still has a lot of puppy in her so sometimes she is a bit rambunctious but we love her to death.

Katrina Survivor.

We know that, a year later, you're asking how we could still be taking Katrina dogs. With people returning now to the Gulf Coast and facing difficult housing situations, they are forced to surrender the animals that they have kept safe for the last year. Some people turn them in at the shelter. Others just let them loose.

Raven is a 2 yr old rottie (possibly dobie mix) girl. She is friendly and loving and full of life. Raven loves to play with her friend Nande at the kennel, and is enthusiastic about everything. Raven loves everyone - big, little, male, female. She gets along great with other dogs and has shown appropriate behavior with small animals. Raven will do best in a home with older kids. She is an aspiring flyball or frisbee girl and would love a companion who's as energetic as she is. Raven loves to play - and wants a very active family!
