With people returning now to the Gulf Coast and facing difficult housing situations, they are forced to surrender the animals that they have kept safe for the last year. Some people turn them in at the shelter. Others just let them loose.

This awesome 3 year old, 102# rottie boy is just a fantastic companion. Zeus found himself a stray outside of New Orleans and spent several months in animal control before being rescued by a local group. Zeus is correctly marked and docked and 102# is the correct weight for this man. He gets along with other dogs and loves all people. Zeus is social with school aged kids. He has not been tested with cats. Zeus would prefer to be the only large male dog in the home.
