Thomas
April 19, 2009 - "Courtney and Thomas wanted to send you this pick to show you how happy they are and how much joy you have given their new pals Mick. Stan and Billy."
August 12, 2007 - What can we say? Thomas came into rescue very afraid of men. Today Thomas the Train was adopted by Stanley of PA and his pittie girl Courtney Love.
As a native of New Orleans, Thomas experienced his first snowfall on the day he arrived in New Hampshire, and he loves it! Thomas is 2-3 years old and has a smaller frame. This very loving boy gets along with other dogs, and may be able to live harmoniously with A (*not multiple*) laid-back cats with supervision, as he is stil excitable around them. Thomas is crate trained, house trained and knows some basic commands. He loves his toys and loves to play with Cayenne and Luna.
After meeting a perspective family in April, we have learned that Thomas' life in the Big Easy wasn't nearly as easy as we'd like to believe. Thomas has a fear of men, in general, and has experienced abuse, likely in the form of a closed fist. Thomas will be placed in a women-only household, or in a situation where he will be socialized and receive positive training. Watching this dog fear a wonderful perspective adopter was heartbreaking.
