Bennington

January 24, 2011 - Catherine writes: "Despite his chin losing it's battle (rapidly) to grey hairs, Ben is as active as ever. He's now a registered service dog for his mom, and enjoys such privileges as hiding under the table in restaurants and meeting the staff at the local Apple store. He gets to travel quit a bit, and has proven to be a very worthy companion (and loyal beyond all doubt!). The Boogey Bug still goes on play dates with local dogs, and travels up to NH to visit Lyndie and Keenan and chase chippies."

October 16, 2009 - Catherine writes: "Ben-the-Boogey-Man-Jammin is the best travel companion anyone could ask for. He's now an experienced co-pilot who enjoys trips between home and his person's friends' and family's homes. When not on the road, Ben spends most days lounging on a couch with best bud Cyd (another NYC half-rott). Ben and his mom recently moved to the Greater Boston area where he once again can show off his street smarts. As handsome as ever, Ben knows how to use them to his advantage: begging for his favorite treats - cashews. He has a few four-legged friends in Lowell and - despite still refusing to get his paws wet - they enjoy romps along the Lowell Canal a few times a month. Overall, he's a very happy rottweiler who gets to see the world and loves every minute of it."

January 20, 2008 - Bennington was adopted by Catherine (his foster family) of New Hampshire. Ben now lives with his rottie sister Molly and goes for many rides.

This absolutely gorgeous man puts some show dogs to shame. He is correctly marked, docked and has dark pigment. This stunning man was found as a stray in urban New York. He gets along with other dogs of all sizes and genders, and is very excitable with cats (he hasn't been given the opportunity to be bad). Ben has a typical dominant male rottweiler personality. He is appropriate for experienced owners as he will test the leadership of the pack. Ben knows many commands and clearly has been through some sort of obedience training. Kids over 14 for Ben.
