Otto

April 12, 2008 - Otto and Rosie were adopted by Harry & Christy. Otto walks twice a day and adores his new, quiet life in the suburbs. Otto's come a long way...

AKA Otto - Toes and Twinkle Toes. Otto loves to dance. Scratch his butt and you'll see.

This personable gentleman greets people with a smile and a wagging tail. This 6 year-old neutered Rottweiler is interested in relocating with an experienced family and getting on with Chapter II in his autobiography. After spending 7 months in foster care ("it's nice here, but it's not HOME") Otto feels that a course of obedience class will help make him a more worldly traveler. He is people-focused and food motivated and ready to do his part to succeed.

Otto knows sit, down and stay on command, needs some more leash work, but really wants a family who can open new vistas to him. Otto is currently living with four other rottweilers, and is socially acceptable with dogs in his own activity level. Sharing his home with small dogs or cats is out of the question, and he will not be happy being added to a household of adolescent dogs.

While he has lived with children, an adult household will be ideal. Until now, his universe revolved around hearth and home, and at this point, this lovable boy is ready to expand his boundaries. Otto is house broken, house worthy and obedient, willingly shares his toys and food, and is looking for a partner to unlock the next chapter of his life. Otto is a dream to foster - and is looking to show this in his forever home.
