Gracie

October 25,2007 - Gracie was adopted today by Samantha and her dog Bentley. Samantha writes: "I though I'd give you another update on Gracie. She is doing great! She and Bentley have settled into their routine and they get along great. We've been able to take her to the dogpark with us several times and even let her off leash. She always comes when called it just takes a min sometimes. I think we will try to get together with Jackson and his mom later this week.

Gracie is the perfect “little” Staffordshire terrier. Gracie is the new mom of 6 wonderful babies born on July 3^rd 2007.  Gracie was pulled into a shelter while pregnant after being abandoned. She has since found a foster home and is taking excellent care of her babies, who are growing in leaps and bounds.  Once the babies are ready to go Gracie will be ready to find her FOREVER home.

Gracie is wonderful with other dogs both big and small.  She is a cuddlebug and loves being with people trying to curl up in your lap and take a nap. She is about 18 months old and is fabulous with children as well. Very gentle in her interaction even as young as 2 years old.  This sweet girl seems to love life and all it has to offer.

Gracie is currently working on basic commands, leash walking and manners. She appears to be quite the quick learner being very eager to please. She loves going outside to play and explore and she is a wonderful companion on car rides enjoying the scenery.
