Austin

March 22, 2007 - Austin was adopted by Stacy & Nat and their dogs Fearless & Gator. Stacy writes: "Austin is soooo cute! Much cuter in person than the pictures. Last night was a little difficult at first. Fearless was not impressed that we took Austin home. There was a lot of noise but it didn't last long. Fearless is definitely Alpha and did get the point across to the little butterball. They played "catch me if you can" for a while last night which was funny. Austin pulled every toy out of the basket and checked them all over. The one toy he seemed to like is the one toy Gator and Fearless do not like. Gator comes home any minute now from Grammies and we are hoping that everything goes okay. Gator is such a sissy but he does make a lot of noise to other dogs sometimes. Pecking order is, we hope, Fearless, Gator then Austin. The cats are in our room not wanting to come out. They will eventually get over the shock. "

Austin is a fun loving 6 month old pit bull cross. He is a wonderful young man who loves everyone he meets. He currently lives with 3 other dogs and 1 cat in his foster home and gets along with everyone. He adores people, both young and old. Austin is a very quick learner and would make an excellent obedience or agility prospect. He currently knows how to sit and lie down and he also will ring a doorbell when he needs to go potty. Austin would do well as either an only child where he gets all of the attention, or in a multiple pet household since he does love to play. He enjoys a good romp and then a good cuddle session on the couch. He is crate trained and sleeps throughout the night. Austin's New Year's resolution is to find his very own forever home.
