Ruby

November 6, 2007 - Dee writes: "Ruby has adjusted well, and we are enjoying every minute of her.  She loves laps and belly rubs and even plays with her pom brother.  She walks to the bus stop to pick up her other brothers and sisters, and all the kids just love her.  What a ball of energy she is!!  We just love having her."

October 28, 2007 - Ruby was adopted today by Mo and Dee and their two-legged and four-legged framily of New Hampshire. Ruby already is telling her new rottie brother "what for" and her pommeranian brother does the same. With three two-legged kids, Ruby will not long for attention!

Success Story Links

Ruby was surrendered because her owner moved into a pet-free apartment. Born March 2005, Ruby is house trained and loves squeeky toys. Ruby is strong on lead but knows basic commands and has polite manners. Ruby is social with other dogs of all sizes, but has not been tested with cats. Ruby's venture from Brooklyn to NH made gave her new experiences. Ruby was confused by stone walls and falling leaves (both from which she completely recovered). We in rural NH forget that there's a concrete jungle -- it was amusing to watch. Ruby is well-socialized with people and is looking for her forever home.
