Ruby Tuesday

September 17, 2008 - Ruby was adopted by Anna and George from New Hampshire. George said he is absolutely thrilled and just LOVES Ruby who is now Roxanne and that she is absolutely wonderful with his grandchildren and that she has settled in so nicely that he feels like she has been there forever. He can't thank you and me enough for again adopting him such a wonderful dog. Calls like this really make it worth doing rescue. May Ruby/Roxanne have a LONG, HAPPY life with the Emmons!!!

Ruby recently arrived at the shelter with her brother, Danny, and our gentle, personable young Rottie is blessed with a sweet disposition to go with her easy going character.  At 8 months old, this correctly marked and docked young lady sits on command and takes treats so gently from closed fingers that they seem to float into her mouth!  Ruby’s leash manners are super, and her native intelligence will make her a quick study in obedience school.  Ruby readily shares her food and any possessions she happens to come across.  Even pigeons walking right into her face did not upset our lovely young lady!  Ruby will make some lucky dominant-dog experienced family a most wonderful addition.
