Bella's Litter

Born in late June, 2008, this rottie mix litter of 8 will be available in mid-September 2008. Three females and five males were born to a rottie mom. We have no idea what dad was, but whatever breed he was, he had some white. Six of the puppies were born with docked tails and we did not dock the remaining two. The litter has been socialized with other dogs and kids as young as 5. The cost of transport for these pups is high, and therefore the adoption fee is $400. The puppies are healthy and altered. For the Love of Dog requires the following for its puppy adopters: 

• Training and socialization are critical -- someone must be home to do this. If your house is empty for more than 3 hours a day, we recommend you look at our older dogs.
• You must be at least 21 years of age and we prefer that you own your home.
• Your yard must be fenced, or you must demonstrate that you regularly leash walk your dog.
• Preference will be given to homes in northern New England. These puppies will be fostered in New Hamphsire. If you are applying from outside of northern New England, you will need to plan to travel to NH to meet your puppy.
• We require that you complete puppy kindergarten and a basic pet obedience class and provide proof of completion by March of 2009
• You must have homeowners insurance that will allow a rottweiler on the premises
