Dani

In 2008, this dandy of a girl was standing outside of the spay/neuter clinic "for sale" by some local deadbeats. Instead of drug money, the sellers were paid a visit by local law enforcement. This 16 wk old girl was fantastic -- good with kids, cats and other dogs.

In 2012, she was returned to rescue for resource guarding with other animals. The owners were uncomfortable separating the dogs when they were eating, and now she waits in boarding for a foster or forever home.

Dani loves to swim and play in the pool. (video)She is dog social and thus far has not displayed the inappropriate behaviors she was reported to have. We can't promise that it will never rear its ugly head in a home with another dog, but feeding separately should solve the problem. Dani is now 4 yrs old, and a joy to have in the program.
