Addie, was Asti
March 15, 2010 - Asti was adopted by Ron and Maureen from New Hampshire. Maureen writes: "Asti is a love and I think things are going to work out fine. We have had her for three days now and each day she is making gains in understanding what we expect from her and what she can depend on from us. She seems perpetually hungry and food seems to be her first priority but would expect that to lessen as she understands that food is coming and will be there. "
Asti was named on New Years eve for her bubbly, exciting personality. This petite rottie girl loves life and intends to live it to the fullest. Asti was originally a stray from the Bronx, but no one can say that she's had a hard life! Asti is super social, and nearly crawled into the vet's pocket the day she was altered. She is a love bug, a velcro dog, and just wants to be your new best friend. At 3-4 years old, Asti is correctly marked, docked and weighs in at 58#. She gets along well with other dogs, and lives with three cats in foster care. Aside from her enthusiasm for life, she will probably do well with school-aged kids (7+). Her evaluation indicating that she guards her food & resources, but we have not seen this in foster care. Asti is by far my favorite of the newer dogs -- won't you give her a place in your heart?
