Star

March 9, 2010 - Star was adopted by Susann and Norm. Susann writes that Star is getting along well in her new home and loves her new sister Jessie!

Success Story Links

2 year old Star was surrendered by her owners because she was "aggressive". While people call "aggression" lots of things, from barking at the mail man to chasing down a squirrel, the label is applied. Star is fearful in meeting new people. She relies heavily on leadership and needs consistency to build her confidence. Star is friendly once she knows you and remembers a happy interaction. She is especially fond of her friends at the kennel where she is currently residing. Star is house trained and knows basic commands, but is very strong on lead. This beautiful 80 lb girl has a lovely European tail and a shiny coat. She gets along well with other dogs, but has not been tested with cats or small animals. She will need an adult-only home with the patience to introduce her to what the world has to offer her.
