November 14, 2010 - Fritz was adopted by James of CT. James writes: "Fritz is a lot bigger and a puppy still so he plays a little rougher. Joey (Daschund) is learning to stay closer to other shield objects for a little extra protection. They are adjusting to a new pecking order. Joey has small stuffed toys that Fritz decided he wanted to eat (literally) so I had buy several semi-indestructable rope knots for Fritz this morning so he will have chew toys. Still a litte jumpy but that will pass. I think it will work out. Just going to take a little time."
This 9-10 month old rottie boy is an unclaimed stray from the Albany area. Fritz is super social with people of all sizes, and greets everyone with wiggles and kisses and knows basic commands. Fritz greets new dogs with enthusiasm... more enthusiasm than most appreciate. He takes correction well from other dogs. He will do best in a home with an adult female dog who is comfortable with her place in the pack. This boy is eager to learn and please his people and redirects properly. Kids over 8 for Fritz. Cats and small animals not recommended at this time.
