November 23, 2011 - Karen writes: "We not only have some pictures of our wonderful girl, Abbey (formerly know as Rita), but also a certificate from Dakin Humane Society. Because of our dedication to working with her, Abbey passed Level 1 obedience on the first day! (Certificate attached) She's almost completed Level 2 and she's often used by the trainer as a demo dog -- she's so smart and so willing to please! She's getting along famously with everyone. Her best buddy, Nieko, is posing with her in one of the pictures attached. You'll also see her in her favorite place to sleep: her crate, with the door open. She usually takes herself to bed -- her crate -- by 10:30 every night. Thanks So Much for Your Dedication to the Breed!"

May 6, 2011 - Rita was adopted by John and Karen.

This beautiful 10 month old rottie girl was found a stray in Brooklyn. Our lovely Rita passed her evaluation with flying colors, and is social and playful with people and other dogs. She displayed no food or toy guarding, and was a happy-go-lucky girl. Her cat testing revealed puppy behavior - she could possibly to well with an established cat. Kids over 6. Rita will join us in New Hampshire in late April.
