This gorgeous blue and white pup was surrendered to the shelter by his owner who became homeless. True was clearly well taken care of: his coat is healthy and shiny, perfect weight for his size, and he loves to give full body hugs!! He was sitting at the edge of his kennel, happy when he saw me approach as it meant he was going out. He appears to be housetrained, "going" as soon as we were outside. As we walked he looked up at everyone we passed - tail wagging - perhaps looking for his person? True sits on
command, and is well mannered. He does pull on the leash a bit so
will need some training. But, what he lacks in leash manners he more than makes up for in snuggles and kisses.

True is a sweetheart of a dog, waiting to meet his forever family. He had a perfect evaluation, and was calm and relaxed during handling, but was distracted and focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag interaction. True did not resist being handled while eating, and was easily pushed out of the food bowl. He was not interested in toys or rawhide, and was relaxed when approaching a friendly dog. Ask for him. True is a Manhattan Mutt. Please fill out our adoption application if you are interested in any of our dogs
