January 15, 2012 - Ellis was adopted by his foster family, Kim & Mike in Maine

Ellis has a fan club. How this 8 year old guy ended up in the shelter, we'll never know. However, he is sweet, friendly, affectionate and a lover to everyone. He is very dog social and enjoys the company of Rocky at the kennel. This guy has the greatest disposition. He walks nicely, is super well behaved, incredibly friendly and affectionate, has no handling issues, loves to be petted and squeezes against your body to get the most love possible. I really was sold to him. This babe deserves a good home.

Ellis loves to play ball - any ball, any size. Soccer, catch, basketball... you name it. He loves kongs and anything else that rolls (like Christmas tree ornaments!). He does guard his ball, but he will leave it with the least bit of encouragement (or a cookie). He is completely house trained, rides well, is good at the vet, and stays off of the furniture.

While Ellis is quite safe with school-aged kids, Ellis is available to an adult home and his adoption fee will be waived for the right family.
