December 11, 2011 - Bear, now Maho, was adopted by Kim and Fred. Kim writes: " I read that every shelter dog's dying wish is for you to save another shelter dog.... So to honor our dear Prince, we did just that. This is Maho- named for our favorite beach on St. John, Maho Bay. He is about 7-8 months old, from a shelter in NYC. Kaya is happy to have someone to bark with again!"

This just in! Bear... surrendered because they had a baby. Pregnancy lasts nine months... why get a puppy if you know you're pregnant? Bear was surrendered at FIVE MONTHS OF AGE to a high volume urban shelter in New York. A lover of everyone, Bear is hoping to find his forever home before the holidays. Bear has not been tested with cats or young children, but as with all puppies, expect that puppy teeth will hurt.
