April 14, 2012 - Laverne was adopted by Cindy & Skip of Maine.

Five year old Laverne arrived as a stray in a central Ohio shelter after Thanksgiving. Laverne and her best friend Shirley weren't in great shape, but are wonderful girls. This very sweet, pretty girl is affectionate, kissy, cuddly and loving. She has perfect house manners, sleeps through the night, rides in the car well, and knows basic commands. Laverne - and Shirley - both get along very well with other dogs. Initial testing with cats for them both went well. They both want forever homes, and they don't need to go together - although they do love each other. . Laverne is sweet and social, and would love a forever home.
