February 19, 2012 - Joy was adopted by Celia. Celia writes: "Here she is, in her crate, ready for bed. She had a very exciting first day here--lots of walks around the neighborhood, which is apparently all full of neat smells, and she got a chew toy which she hid in the chair next to me for a while, before she was ready for it. (she even carefully pulled a piece of cloth over it so she was sure it was hidden well enough.) She was a little scared of the cat when he first came out of hiding--she came back into the living room and stood really really close to me and looked worried--but now she just wants him to play with her, but he's not ready for that yet."
Joy's foster mom writes: "She is such a "joy"! She really is a good, sweet puppy dog. She is wonderful with the girls who are 5 & 8. Not nippy at all! She is still jumping up a bit...almost has solid sit and polite when accepting treat. She has not had an accident in the house. Joy is learning quickly from the other 3 dogs about appropriate manners. We have a basket of dog toys she loves and she's always chewing on one of the crazy dozen or so marrow bones all over the place. Joy is a gem."
This adorable 8-10 month old rottie girl was found as a stray in Ohio. She is playful girl who is full of energy. Joy is social with people and other dogs.
