Kira

April 23, 2012 - Kira was adopted by Paul and Dorie of NH.

This adorable rottie mix girl came in with Nina after being abandoned in a NYC apartment. Kira is the pricess of belly rubs, and is a cuddle bug. She is always wiggling, and can't get enough love. She is about 2 yrs old.

Kira is living in a foster home with two other rotties and 3 cats. Initial testing with cats has gone well, she paid attention to the human telling her to stay and didn't chase them. She loves to play with Serena, the other female rottie in the house. She is a very faster runner, but does not bail when off leash, she sticks close to the humans. She is learning to take treats
gently and to sit for her food. She will need additional training, as it doesn't appear she has received much from her previous owner. When she gets bored outside
and wants attention she will howl and her coloring is absolutely beautiful. However, she does not whine and howl in the house when crated and is crate trained. This foster mom gives Kira an A+!

Nina's chip in covers Kira as well. Because of New Hampshire's requirements to enter the state, all New York dogs cost us approx $300/dog to enter legally.
