Recommended Obedience Trainers

Obedience training is not about teaching the dog. It's about socialization, bonding, and working with the dog and distractions.

Let me say that again — Obedience training is not about teaching the dog. It's about socialization, bonding, and working with the dog and distractions. We require the completion of a group obedience class for 95% of our adopted canines for this reason and this reason alone. You are adopting a dominant breed — whether it's a rottweiler or a pitbull. You are adopting a breed that has negative public misconceptions. It is your responsibility as a rottweiler or pitbull owner to outshine every lab, golden, and poodle owner out there with your well-mannered, well-socialized dog.

Below is a list of trainers that we have personal first hand experience with and/or are recommended by our adopters. If you feel strongly about a trainer you have worked with, please let us know and we'll add them to the list.
