Born in July 2009, Carlo is a 69 pound pittie with a heart of gold. He was found wondering on a hot 90 degree day on the steps of the McKinley Monument in Ohio with no tags or collar. He made his way to New England and is now staying in New Hampshire with his foster family. Carlo currently resides with another pit bull and 2 cats that he enjoys lying around the house with. He is house trained, crate trained and is great with children. His knowledge of basic commands grows steadily, and and include sit, stay, down and to wait for his food. He loves to go on walks/runs with his foster family and cuddling up on the couch at the end of the day. Carlo is almost the perfect dog for a home.

Like everyone, he does, however, have some flaws. When Carlo first meets new animals he tends to bark a lot. He has come a long way and only barks occasionally now, but could still use some training. His social training right now consists of going on walks in the park to meet other dogs and walking in pet stores. The more experience Carlo gets with other animals, the better he gets. Carlo can live in a home with a family and other animals, but he would also make a great one dog family as well.
