Mission Critial - Foster Homes Needed

Rotties & Pitties ~ Seniors & Youngsters

It's Friday, and we're getting our predicted 8-12" of snow. It's New Hampshire, after all, and while it's unwelcome, it's no surprise. I'm sitting here in my pajamas reading my email from the NYC Shelters. One right after the other:

Can you take 12 Year Old Wahlberg A1107189?
Wahlburg A1107189, Stray, 12 Years Old, Tan/White, Male, American Pit-Bull Terrier, 67.4 lbs.

Deferred Intake Rottie Sonny
Hi Dale, We have this lovely sweet boy coming in on 4/02 as a deferred intake. Are you able to take? 12Y M Black Rottie

And so I said yes. The response was "We also have available: Sasha A1106713, Owner Surrender, 4 Years Old, Female, Black/Tan Rottweiler" --- Sure, why not?

We already had quite a few dogs at the kennel as I had just come in from NY earlier this week. And now, here we are -- needing some fosters.

Previous adopters. Approved applicants. Friends & family in northern New England... Can you help?

We need foster homes for Sonny, Wahlberg (Wally), Batman, Lorelai, Cash, Sally, Sasha, Bear, Abby, Kiba and Hazel. The links are dynamically generated, so they could change -- use this link to see all of our dogs. If you can foster -- just reply to this email.

Lorelai is a 4-5 year old rottweiler originally from Kentucky. She is sweet, and has come a long way with manners. She is dog selective and may do well with cats. More about Lorelai

Twelve year old Wally was a stray in NYC. Despite his age, he is mobile. He is social with other dogs & people. Not cat tested. Looking for a forever couch. More about Wally

Six year old Abby is a big and quiet girl who takes a little time to warm up to her surroundings. Once comfortable, she is all kisses and wiggles. Good with other dogs. No cats. Older kids. More about Abby

Sue... at a distance

Sue at her finest.Sue Daniels has been a volunteer, director, volunteer coordinator and a dozen other things for the rescue and for the dogs in the Keene area for at least ten years. She recently accepted a promotion and will be moving to Nashville in mid-April. It will take three people to do what Sue has done for the dogs, and we will miss her tremendously. She has touched a lot of human and canine lives in New Hampshire. She will continue to do some of the things she can do from a distance... but we will miss her. Email Sue
