Tucker

September 23, 2004 - Tucker was adopted today by Gisela & Hanna (rottweiler), and reluctantly by the three cats. Gisela writes:

"Just to let you know, Tucker is doing great. Yesterday was his first day out in the backyard without me being there and he did fine. Nothing chewed, no holes dug, all the neighbours are still alive (just kidding). He has been swatted by my cats when he got to close to the couch and his feelings were hurt. He knows to stay on his pillow in the house. I did buy him a new collar. One that has a cushion around it. He walks so well on the leash and wears his collar all the time that i wanted him to be comfortable. I will call the berkshire humane society for a dog training class, even though he responds very well to my commands and learns quickly, I think it is just a good idea for him to be exposed to that type of education as well. Tucker has found a permant home. i think Tucker is very happy and his coat is getting soft and shiney. Hanna is being good as well. she plays with him now. This weekend a young dog will come to visit and tucker should have a blast playing with someone his age, who will out run him"

Tucker

This handsome young man can't wait to be someone's best friend. He lives happily with other dogs and cats, and would prefer his four-legged family members to be over the age of 12.
