Bruin

February 2004 - Bruin was adopted by JenLian and McGreggor and their kitty Braizen. After a rough integration with Braizen, Bruin fit himself into the family. Congratulations!

Bruin ~ is Adopted!

Bruin is a four year old rottie (mix?) with a docked tail. He was very ill when he came into rescue with a nasty upper resperatory infection. Further, was been diagnosed with erlichiosis (a tick-borne blood infection) and entropian in his right eye, and possibly his left eye (all of which are being treated). Despite this all, he is a happy man.

This is a great dog! Feeling much better now, he has decided to move out of his crate. . .or any crate that we put him in for that matter! He obviously had never been crated, but gives us no problem when it is time to enter the crate (this smart boy just knows how to break out, now).

He is not destructive at all, is housebroken, and gets along with the other dogs of all sizes & genders. He has shown barely a passing interest in the resident felines. He is loveable and friendly, and just plain appreciative. Bru will make some lucky family a wonderful pet! He is amazingly calm in high-stress situations, and is a real gentleman. Bruin knows basic commands and is friendly with all people.
