Bear

April 14, 2005 - Bear was adopted today by Kate & her family. Since adoption, Bear had had siezures and extensive testing has determined that it's epilepsy (and not the worst fear... the C word). Bear came to visit us on June 3 and looks FABULOUS! Kate you've done a great job with him!

Bear

This boy has been waiting for weeks for his spot in rescue. He is 3-4 years old, and is just "gorgeous" that needs to put on some weight after spending a lot of time in a shelter. He's a big boy but very mellow . Once he gets some weight on and groomed , he will be a magnificent looking boy!

Bear passed his evaluation with high marks! He showed no signs of food aggression and has no resource guarding. He loves physical attention and loves treats. He is social with people of all sizes and genders. He has been attending doggy playgroups while he waits for rescue, and is appropriate with other dogs. He appears to have low prey drive, so cats are definitely a possibility. Bear has not had the benefit of formal obedience training - his new family should plan on completing at least one round for both his training and socialization, and your bonding.
