Annie
July 1, 2005 - Annie was adopted today by Jenn & Mike, their three kids, and rottie boy Buddy. Annie fit herself right in to the family, and after Annie's confusing first night home, she as settled well. Jenn writes: "Buddy hates anything loud. Fireworks, thunder, etc. Well, last nite, apparently our neighbors were having a little 4th gathering and setting off bottle rockets and M80's in their yard. Buddy went right upstairs to Robbie's room to hide, and Annie followed him. When he laid down, Annie seem to be comforting him by licking his ears and laying next to him. She wouldn't leave his side until he got up and came downstairs on his own. They definitely seem to have bonded, which makes me :) Thanks for your help! Sorry to be so long winded, but I just can't gush enough about my new baby!"

Annie
What a love! What can you say about a girl who greets you with a request for a belly rub. Annie spent the last four months living in concrete & chain link and she didn't deserve it. Deemed a "stray", Annie is sweet and calm, affectionate, obedient, endearing and very cute. Annie gets along well with other dogs, but and initial testing with cats suggests that they could be a housemate. Annie is about 7 years old and prematurely grey. Don't let this fool you- this girl has a lot of energy, and bounces around. She would trade her dinner for a belly rub!
